NEJM Healer needed a website that more effectively reflected their quality of service offering.

Having been impressed with Apexure’s expertise and successful track-record whilst working on a previous lead-generation project, they were keen to collaborate once again.

The Apexure and NEJM Healer teams first met to discuss the expectations, requirements and to define a technical brief for the new website. NEJM Healer had a tight deadline to meet for this project and were impressed that Apexure could work quickly in order to meet the deadline set.

So, Apexure’s technical proposal and ability to meet the deadline sealed the deal, and work began.


The tight deadline was expressed as both a concern and a priority by the client as they were keen to test and go-live quickly.

The technical brief also outlined the chosen platform - WordPress. With seven years of experience in Wordpress, Apexure were able to showcase a number of previous projects.

In particular, the ability for NEJM Healer to manage their website through the Gutenburg block builder within WordPress was considered a real benefit.


As with all clients, Apexure first conducted a review to gain a comprehensive understanding of NEJM Healer’s needs.

After hosting several online discovery meetings together, the NEJM Healer marketing team provided the finalised site architecture, along with the imagery and content for the website. The Apexure team began by producing wireframes for each page. Following NEJM Healer’s approval, these were rapidly turned into visual mockups for feedback.

The feedback was documented on the ‘live’ mockups via Invision, which the design team could review and either challenge or update the designs, speeding up the process.


In their early meetings, the client had highlighted their concern for the project’s tight deadline. The entire team were delighted when the website was finished ahead of schedule, enabling the testing and go-live processes to take place seamlessly.

The NEJM Healer team were delighted with the results, with the sales director commenting: “This is our best website yet in terms of flow and look and feel.”


Following the initial review, Apexure got to work setting targets that aligned with the senior leadership team’s goals.

The team created a bespoke landing page for a new, targeted campaign, establishing a range of tracking and analytical tools to monitor its success.

Working in collaboration with DOOR3’s marketing team, the Apexure team also developed a new sales funnel, linking the various marketing platforms into a streamlined sales process.
